Form powerful alliances, build your economy, and prepare your nation for the war. Lead your men into battle and become the ruler of Europe.
There are three different categories of resources that are essential for the survival of the European people: Food, building materials, and energy. Luckily all those resources are available on European soil. At the beginning of your term as the ruler of your country, it will consist of 12 provinces. Each province has one single resource production that is being produced in large amounts to be shared throughout the nation.
Resources are produced and consumed continuously. The resulting income rate for each resource is indicated per hour. It may have that a resource is used up completely and still has a negative income rate, the resulting shortage will have negative effects like a drop in morale or buildings that cannot fulfill their duties anymore.
Morale is one of the most important factors in Supremacy 1914, since it influences all aspects of the game: The well-being of the provinces, the strengths of your troops, and the production of resources. At the same time the morale itself is influenced by many factors: The upgrading of your provinces, the supply with resources, and the wars progress.
The morale also factors into the calculation of the points for the index of power and thus can decide about victory or defeat. The morale of a province is based on many factors such as availability of resources, distance to the capital, province upgrades, war weariness, morale of neighboring provinces and enemy armies. They all add or subtract something from a hypothetical target morale. Every day the target morale will be recalculated and the actual morale slowly approaches the calculated value.
If you hover your mouse over a city whose morale is lower than 100%, you have the possibility to start a Propaganda Campaign. It will raise the morale by 5% for 500 GM. You can also find this option in the 3D province view.
Goldmark are the Premium currency in Supremacy 1914. With them you can use special features in the game that are not available without the use of Goldmark. You can very successfully in Supremacy 1914 without using Goldmark, but the systematic use of Goldmark can give you the crucial advantage that can lead you to victory.
If you have a factory in one of your cities, you can reduce the time for any ongoing production by 12 hours for 1,000 GM. You can also find this option if you click on the corresponding unit icon in the province window or by clicking the speed up button in the factory window in the 3D province view.
If you spend 5,000 GM you can either create a gold round or join an already existing one. Gold rounds offer a variety of additional features and special units.
Besides the usual spy options, you can also find the option to hire a Master Spy in the espionage headquarters. For this option you don’t have to recruit a normal spy and the spy reports will be available immediately. You don’t have to wait for the daily spy report.
If a province has been upgraded with a working factory, it is able to produce advanced weapon technologies depending on the upgrade level of the factory. These allow more advanced strategies and are essential in the high end of the game. The following list provides an overview over the different types of weapons and their features.
Production times depend on the factory level; if the factory level is higher than actually needed for a certain weapon, the building time will decrease.
