In Chaos Heroes Online players can fight each other in exciting 5vs5 PvP battles, choosing from a wide selection of heroes. The game is originally from Korea, and is an evolution of the original DotA that later evolved into DotA Allstars (which eventually became DotA 2) and DotA Chaos, which led to the creation of Chaos Heroes Online. With a lot of fans in Asia, particularly in China and Korea, the game now reaches Europe, and promises to bring a new pace to the MOBA genre.

Chaos Heroes Online offers a lot of small but game changing improvements over the other MOBAs in the market, whilst offering many similar features to original Warcraft mod.
The basic premise of the players is to join a team of 5 players and fight battles on a large map in which the main objective is to destroy the enemy base, although to do so must fight through enemy watchtowers, waves of minions and of course the players of the opposing team.

The game features a huge variety of heroes (60+), all of which are available on the European version of the game, with the intention of adding more every few weeks.
The heroes are divided into two factions, each of which classifies their heroes by their main attributes (strength, agility and intelligence) to determine its role and their skills. Each hero has unique attacks and skills that can be used in combat, and players can customize their appearance with a variety of skins.


The game features several classic game modes, as the typical 5v5 team based matches, 5vsAI were a group Co-op can battle against the intelligent AI enemy team as well as a single player option with one player, 4 AI teammates against a full AI team. Players can also customize their own games, choosing how many AI bots or players will make up their teams.


The game features a classic 3 lane map, although is much larger than the maps of other MOBA games. The three lanes connect the two bases, and in between lanes players can find a jungle area which hides several monster camps, and players can blast his way through the jungle to open their own trails; in addition players can use two portals to instantly switch between the bottom and top lanes, though use of these portals is restricted to twice per game. Unlike DotA and League of Legends, the orientation of the map is different, which is a fresh change to any veterans to the genre.


Two of the key differences with the game in comparison to other MOBA is that there is a time limit on each game of 50 minutes and players are able to purchase items and consumables in the field without having to return to their base, meaning that players are constantly in battle and not having to trail back and forth to their base or the time. Having the time limit gives players a finite window to complete their objectives otherwise they may lose on a points-based system.

Success in battle is also extremely twitch based where fast reaction times either by casting abilities or using consumables at the right time can greatly reward player, such skill requirements offer up exciting gameplay moments that will no doubt be embraced by the eSports crowd.
